How to grow it:

Better adapted to cooler weather, direct so around the average last frost date. Plant every 2 weeks to ensure a steady supply, though germination is best between 60-70 degrees so spring and fall are best. Small plants are mildly frost tolerant, while larger plants may easily overwinter. Does not transplant well. Harvest leaves by picking a few from around the edges of each plant or cutting the whole plant. Late-summer/fall plantings can be over-wintered, with growth and harvesting beginning again after spring thaw.
