Sorghum bicolor

95-100 days.  Broom corn, called such as the seed stalks are traditionally used to make brooms, is a really fun plant grow!  It thrives in heat and sunshine and it does great in our hot desert summers.  This mix is made up of many colors, meaning the seed heads range from maroon to green to blue to black and purple!  Great as decoration, bird seed, or whole kernels can be cooked like brown rice and used just like rice, quinoa, or couscous, in a traditional sorghum porridge.  This mix gets 12-15 ft. tall.
