Brassica alba or Sinapsis alba

90 days to seed harvest.  Native to China, white mustard seeds are a popular source for condiment mustard as they make a milder mustard than yellow, black, or brown mustard seeds. Plants bolt quickly producing a profuse amount of yellow flowers which yield surprising amounts of cream colored mustard seeds. A small 5 X 5' space yields enough to keep you in mustard until the following season!

Make the flavor complex by mixing with homegrown 'Dijon' mustard!
