Early maturing, dark red, juicy fruit with superb flavor. 6-8 oz fruits are blemish free and crack resistant, thrives in hot weather when other tomato varieties poop out. Use it for almost anything you'd use tomatoes for- slicing, salads, canning, and sauces. Peels easily, hallelujah! Some resistance to late blight and other diseases. A bit of it's story: Brought from Germany by Joseph A. Bratka of Elmwood Park, New Jersey. Bratka's grandfather raised this tomato is the Black Forest region of Germany.
