65-70 days, Semi-determinate. Early, blemish free, crack resistant slicer that is the epitome of tomato! Deep red fruit ripen even in hotter, drier conditions. Cold tolerant as well, as it maintains its flavor during fall harvests. Bears well all summer long. Semi-determinate, a good size for container gardens. Excellent fresh, in sauces, soups, or processed.  Slightly flat in shape.

A bit of its story:  A Russian heirloom, Moskvich translates to "a person living in Moscow."  Developed by the Vavilov Institute and named after Nikolai Vavilov who dedicated his life to ending world hunger.

Start seeds indoors 4-6 weeks before average last frost date. Plant seeds in sterile potting soil and provide 7-10 hours of direct light each day. Thin to the strongest plant per pot. Transplant 24"-36" apart in full sun, benefits from trellising. Harvest tomatoes at full red. Good for container gardens.  Water tomatoes only at the soil level- not foliage.
