Marrubium vulgare
A great perennial herb used to soothe coughs and sore throats. Easy to grow, plant in poor soil that doesn't receive much water. Make traditional horehound candy, tinctures, or teas!

Scarify seed lightly with sandpaper to enhance germination, although many will germinate just fine without. Sow in place or start in the greenhouse 6-8 weeks prior to transplanting. Barely cover seeds, tamp down, and keep moist. When transplanting, allow about 12" between plants.
Seed specs: Packet size- 100 seeds min.
