Indeterminate. The perfect tomato for sandwiches!  From a volunteer tomato plant found at Hazelfield Farm in Kentucky, stabilized for 10 years thereafter. This pretty tomato is large at 6-8 oz, oblate shape with mild lobing and bright red color. Deep tomato flavor, moderate sugar content, excellent for slicing or processing. Resistant to cracking and tolerant of hotter, drier conditions.  Regular leaf.  Overwhelmingly productive.

This tomato is part of our heat tolerant tomato package.

A bit of its story:

From a volunteer plant from Gary Millwood’s friends Teresa and Raphe, who grow for the Farmer’s Market in Lexington, Frankfort and Cincinnati and sometimes Louisville. Teresa and Raphe stabilized this variety for 10 years and shared the seed with Gary.
Since then Gary Millwood distributed the seeds to quite a few tomato growers and this variety quickly made its way into commercial seed catalogs, such as this one!
