Allium schoenoprasum

Standard chives with hot pink flowers!  Chives are a perennial that shoot up delectable, onion flavored sprouts every spring.  Tender greens can be chopped and added to almost every savory dish.  Once the plant flowers, the flowers are very attractive to a whole host of pollinators!  Great for bee-watching.  Flowers also make suitable cut flowers.  Seeds are easy to gather and save yourself!  Chives are a great choice for container gardens.
