- Tall, wildflower look
Phacelia tanacetifolia
Round clusters of light purple flowers resemble wild flowers in their untamed beauty. Tall plants reach 36-48 inches in height and lean here and there in large attractive mounds. Makes a nice cut flower. Bumblebees just love this flower! This plant has gotten very popular with gardeners in the past couple of years as it makes for great bumble bee watching! Nothing we grow attracts more of them!
Plant this flower, then photograph visiting bumblebees for the Xerces Society's Bumble Bee Watch Citizen Science Project!
