40-45 days, 20-25 days for baby leaf. Baby leaves can add a nice punch to any salad, while larger leaves are best cooked. Cold tolerant and cool-season loving, plant these in early spring and again in late summer for fall harvest. Successively plant every 2 weeks to keep you in fresh young greens. Keep well watered and plant in fertile soil. Mature leaves can be used for tsukemono, ohitashi, stir-frying, and pickling.
