Better adapted to cooler weather, direct so around the average last frost date. Plant every 2 weeks to ensure a steady supply. Small plants are mildly frost tolerant, while larger plants may easily overwinter. Does not transplant well. Harvest leaves by picking a few from around the edges of each plant or cutting the whole plant.
