Pisum sativum

65 days, bush, shelling pea. English heirloom, very productive gourmet pea variety which bears almost all double pods for super easy harvesting. Emerald pods are long and pointed at the end.  Average of 10 peas/pod on vines which grow 30” tall and don't require trellising, but might bear longer. Our main crop pea for home freezing and canning.  Resists wilt and mildew.

Peas love a crowd, sow 1" apart along as soon as the ground warms a bit spring. Plant 1-2" deep at the base of a trellis suchl. Plants will bear longer if planted early during cool weather and pods are picked regularly before peas begin drying down.
