So, at the end of the season when the frost is coming, gather them in and prepare to enjoy richly flavored, not mealy fruit for weeks more! Bears abundantly all summer long for market or home production. Bred at the University of Arkansas by Joe McFerran, heat tolerant, humidity tolerant, and disease resistant. Pink fruits are delicious and have a long shelf life. Fruits resistant to cracking and blemish-free, uniform-ripening shoulders. Excellent freshly sliced or processed, add these to stews.
