Solanum lycopersicum

Indeterminate.  Heirloom from the island of Santorini in Greece.  This tomato variety is a unique and hard to find product of that island's climate, where it is historically grown without watering.  Regular leaf plants produce 1-2 oz. flat, ribbed, bright red fruits with a slightly-acidic flavor.  Can be eaten fresh, this is also an excellent paste tomato.  Somewhat compact plants could do well in containers.
