Parsnips have the bad reputation of being difficult to germinate, but unnecessarily so! Cover seeds lightly, if you have coarse soil use sifted compost or fine peat. Keep moist while they germinate, watering twice per day in warmer weather. Plant midsummer for overwintering.
Seed specs: 200 min.
