Phaseolus vulgaris

95 days to dry, Bush bean. Standard black bean for Latin American black bean dishes. Dual purpose, very productive bush plants don't need trellising and yield nutritious green beans. Or, wait for dry beans rich in anthocyanin antioxidants.  Black bean dishes are famously high in protein and fiber.

Easy to grow, a widely adapted and popular variety.  Heirloom classic, heat-tolerant.  The most productive dry bean we grow.
