Catnip is difficult to germinate as seeds contain many germination inhibiting compounds. For best results, scarify seeds lightly with fine sand paper and allow 2-3 weeks to germinate at around 70 degrees F. Sow in place or start in the greenhouse, allow about 18" between plants.
