Cucumis sativus

I like my cucumbers like I like my humans- forgiving.  And these cucumbers are remarkably forgiving.  If you don't get to picking them in their prime (classic me!), they are still tender and sweet, not bitter.  Dense and crunchy, these cucumbers are really something special.  They have that loveable fresh cucumber flavor, but with the texture of a zucchini.  They have lots of white flesh with few seeds.

Plant 1-2" deep in small mounds 24" apart. As plants tend to produce less after 6 weeks of production I encourage 2 plantings, one right after the last frost date and one 3 weeks to a month later to ensure high quality cucumbers all season long. Cucumbers are heavy feeders, provide fertility throughout the season.
