French heirloom for making mustard! Plants bolt quickly producing a profuse amount of yellow flowers which yield surprising amounts of golden mustard seeds. A small 5 X 5' space yields enough to keep you in mustard until the following season!

Direct sow around the last frost date. Harvest seeds by clipping upper part of plant which bears seeds into a large bag. Agitate bag to free seeds from pods. Use a fan to separate chaff from seeds. Grind with a coffee or grain grinder to produce mustard powder. Hydrate with vinegar, wine, or beer to make your own mustard sauce!
