Music is one of the most popular garlic varieties in the United States- the "garlic lovers garlic"! Known for its large, easy-to-peel cloves, and strong garlicky flavor. We love how long Music stores, its super hardiness, and disease tolerance. It is easy to grow and is a great variety to start with for beginning garlic growers. Heads are made up of 4-8 cloves.
How to grow it:

Plant individual cloves in fall, Sept-Nov, root side down, about 2 inches deep. Cover with straw mulch to help protect cloves from deep freezes. Harvest when leaves begin to dry down, around mid-July. Hang to let cure for 2-4 weeks in a covered location. |
