Popular garnish herb used both fresh and cooked in salads, soups, and sauces. Said to lessen the need for salt. A necessity for any kitchen herb garden! Easy to grow!
How to Grow It:
Germination can be hastened by soaking seeds overnight. Direct sow in rich soil 3-4 weeks before the last spring frost. Seeds will sprout variably over the course of 3 weeks. Thin plants to 6-10" between. Can grow in partial shade, especially in midsummer. Keep leaves harvested to delay flowering and prolong harvest period.
